The eyes of Texas were upon Terrell Owens on Thursday, and they liked what they saw.

Owens ran at close to full speed, made some sharp cuts, and otherwise gave his coaches some reason for encouragement during the Dallas Cowboys' Thursday practice.

"It would be a nice present," said Cowboys coach Wade Phillips when asked whether his star wide receiver might play against the Giants this weekend.

Commentary: There's no question that Owens' presence changes Dallas from a good team to a very good team. If it wasn't for Randy Moss' monster season, Owens' 81 catches 1,355 yards and 15 touchdowns would be the talk of the NFL.
