Arkansas junior running backs Darren McFadden and Felix Jones both declared Monday that they would give up their final season of eligibility to enter the NFL draft. McFadden ran for 1,830 yards last season, while Jones added 1,168. It was the second straight year that both backs had eclipsed 1,000 yards. Both are expected to be first-round picks in April.

Commentary: These guys are smart to leave just as Bobby Petrino takes over. And he deserves the desertions after the way he bailed on the Atlanta Falcons last month.

Fantasy Football Impact: It's a big year for running backs, and McFadden should be one of the top picks in the draft. That means he figures to be a fantasy factor next season as well.
