As expected, the Miami Dolphins continued to become South Dallas as Tony Sparano was hired from the Cowboys to become the Dolphins' seventh coach in franchise history. Sparano was the assistant head coach in Dallas this season, and he follows Bill Parcells and Jeff Ireland to Miami. Sparano reportedly got a four-year contract worth about $2.5 million per year. Sparano is Miami's fifth coach in five years, replacing Cam Cameron, who won one game in his lone season as coach.

Commentary: Sparano, 46, is a nine-year NFL coaching veteran -- relatively young by NFL standards. But he is respected for his offensive mind and his way with players, and he has been mentored by Parcells, which is probably his biggest attribute.

Fantasy Football Impact: Hard to say until we know who will be playing quarterback for the Dolphins.
