Just a few days after firing Norm Chow, the Tennessee Titans have brought back Mike Heimerdinger as offensive coordinator.

Commentary: Heimerdinger did such a nice job for the Titans from 2000 to 2004 that he was mentioned as a possible head coach. He left to be the New York Jets' OC in 2005, then spent the past two years as Denver's OC and assistant head coach. He will be charged with trying to turn Vince Young into a good NFL quarterback and fixing one of the league's worst offenses (27th in passing, last in touchdown passes). Heimerdinger helped another 2006 first-rounder, Jay Cutler, make progress, so maybe he can turn Young into a good passer, too.

Fantasy Football Impact: Heimerdinger is fairly imaginative, so if anyone can make Young a good fantasy player, it's Dinger. But until that happens -- and until the Titans actually get some receivers -- Young has very little fantasy value.
