Dungy not done yet, will return for seventh year in Indy

Tony Dungy will return for his seventh season as coach of the Indianapolis Colts, ending a week of speculation and personal reflection. "It was a family decision," Dungy told reporters. "We're on board, and we look forward to '08, look forward to putting together a winner." Owner Jim Irsay said Dungy could stay beyond 2008, and he promoted Jim Caldwell, Dungy's successor, to associate head coach.

Commentary: Irsay also plans to allow Dungy to make trips home to Tampa Bay on Fridays to see his 16-year-old son play football. And both said it would not affect Dungy's ability to coach the Colts as well as he has the past six years. This remains a year-to-year deal, as it has been the past three years.
