Chiefs continue to remake offensive coaching staff

The Kansas City Chiefs promoted Bob Bicknell to offensive line coach, hired Curtis Modkins to coach their running backs and added Joe D'Alessandris as assistant line coach. Bicknell was Kansas City's assistant offensive line coach last season, while Modkins and D'Alessandris were assistants at Georgia Tech under new offensive coordinator Chan Gailey.

Commentary: The Chiefs sorely need to fix their offense, and maybe these coaching moves will help. But they need to find some O-linemen, as well as a quarterback, and get stud runner Larry Johnson healthy again.
