For a day, the Dallas Cowboys could rest easy knowing that new Miami coach Tony Sparano would not pilfer more of Wade Phillips' assistants. Because Sparano went elsewhere for a receivers coach, hiring former UCLA coach Karl Dorrell.

Commentary: Dorrell knows how to handle NFL receivers; he coached the Denver Broncos wideouts from 2000 to 2002 before UCLA hired him. Sparano already had hired three former Dallas assistants -- Todd Bowles (assistant head coach), Paul Pasqualoni (defensive coordinator) and Kacy Rodgers (defensive line).

The Dolphins also have hired James Saxon (running backs), Evan Marcus (strength and conditioning), Jim Reid (linebackers) and David Corrao (defensive quality control).

Fantasy Football Impact: None.
