Rex Ryan will remain as defensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens under new coach John Harbaugh, keeping some continuity at the top of the team's strongest unit. The Ravens also gave Ryan the title of assistant head coach along with a three-year contract reportedly worth up to $1.5 million per year (a raise of about $500,000).

Commentary: Ryan is back only because he was not hired to coach any of the three teams with whom he interviewed -- the Ravens, Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins. Assuming he keeps the Ravens' defense among the league's best, Ryan will soon be a coach somewhere. But for now, the Ravens' defense figures to remain a powerhouse.

Fantasy Football Impact: Opposing running games still need to fear the Ravens' defense.
