The Houston Texans have hired Ray Rhodes to help coach defensive backs. Rhodes, a former head coach in Green Bay and Philadelphia, had been a defensive assistant with the Seattle Seahawks for the past five years.

Commentary: After suffering a stroke in 2005, Rhodes lost his position as Seattle's defensive coordinator and had been helping new DC John Marshall over the past two years. This move takes Rhodes back home and keeps him involved in coaching on a less stressful level. He worked with Houston coach Gary Kubiak previously in San Francisco and Denver, where they both were coordinators.

Fantasy Football Impact: None.
