Although many think Brett Favre will return in 2008 for his 18th season in the NFL, the Green Bay quarterback said he will not decide for a few more weeks.

"We just played a little over a week ago. I'm going to take a few more weeks," he told reporters in Arizona, adding that he would talk with Mike McCarthy after the coach returns from coaching the NFC unit in the Pro Bowl.

Favre said he has to decide whether he is willing to commit to another grueling season.

"I think it's more whether I'm willing to go through the journey and the ups and downs," he said. "What if we start 4-0? Great. What if we start 0-4? Then how will I react? Do I want to put in the time in the offseason to prepare? That will decide it more than anything else."

Commentary: The Packers were an overtime loss away from getting back to the Super Bowl for the third time in Favre's career, and they are going to remain competitive next season ... so Favre will be back.

Fantasy Football Impact: At age 38, Favre had one of his best seasons ever (4,155 yards, 28 touchdown passes). He can do it again.
