As expected, commissioner Roger Goodell announced that the New Orleans Saints will host the San Diego Chargers at Wembley Stadium in London next season. The game will be played on Oct. 26. "The reception we got was extraordinary for last year's game (the New York Giants beat the Miami Dolphins 17-10), and we're so grateful we're coming back," Goodell told reporters.

Commentary: Goodell said many teams expressed interest in the London game. Betcha none of them were West Coast franchises.
