The Florida Gators are looking BCS Championship-worthy: Yes, the Georgia Bulldogs screwed up with turnovers, onside kicks and field goals throughout Saturday. Sure, they managed to accumulate a similar amount of offensive yards as their opponent. Still, Florida's 49-10 beatdown of Georgia says something.

It indicates that these Gators have so much speed on both offense and defense that they can challenge anyone in the nation. Right now, there are two teams that no one in college football really wants to suit up against. One of those clubs is Florida. The other is Texas Tech.

The Auburn Tigers have fallen apart: It’s hard to come up with anything positive to say about Auburn right now. The Tigers have fired their offensive coordinator, still can’t score any points, and have lost four straight. Of those four straight, ask yourself this: Did you really think coming into the season that the Tigers would ever lose to Arkansas, Mississippi or Vanderbilt, let alone all three in the same season? This is shaping up to be head coach Tommy Tuberville’s most difficult year.

South Carolina on a roll: Steve Spurrier’s Gamecocks have now won five of their last six after defeating the Tennessee Volunteers 27-6 on Saturday. What has gone almost unnoticed is that their defense is currently rated tops in the SEC.

Speaking of Tennessee, let’s talk head coach Phil Fulmer: If Fulmer is able to save his job after this season, it would be a miracle. He’s been an outstanding coach for the Volunteers, but it appears that it’s time for both to move on.

Alabama is still undefeated: Just in case you were actually wondering, the Tide unsurprisingly defeated Arkansas State with ease, 35-0. Alabama is still riding high and may end up with a top ranking when the dust clears from the Texas-Texas Tech matchup.
