Clear Lake High (Houston) kicker Dustin Hopkins committed to Florida State on Wednesday for the ’09 class.

The 6-foot-2, 174-pounder chose Tallahassee over several schools, including Kansas State, Missouri, Notre Dame and Baylor. James Coley is credited as the primary.

COMMENTARY: Hopkins is the first kicker to commit to FSU in two years. His commitment brings the Seminoles’ total commitments to 12 for this class.
