New York Giants rookies Mario Manningham and Andre Woodson were injured at minicamp on Saturday.

Commentary: Manningham suffered a hip flexor injury and Woodson pulled a quad muscle a short time later.

Manningham, a wide receiver, indicated that he ran his pattern wrong, prompting the injury, while Woodson, a quarterback, fully admitted that he didn’t know what happened.

“I’m kind of disappointed I’m not out there for my first minicamp,” said the former Kentucky star afterward.

At this time, Manningham believes that his injury isn’t significant.
