Tiki Barber signs an extension

The New York Giants have given their star running back Tiki Barber a two-year contract extension. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but what is known is that Barber is now signed through the 2008 season.

At 30 years of age Tiki Barber is coming off his best season. He gained a team-record 1,518 yards. Barber has played his entire career with the New York Giants and is the Giants' all-time leading rusher with 6,927 yards. He played his college ball for the Virginia Cavaliers.
