EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey - Kicker Jay Feely joined the New York Giants after signing a 2 year contract. Feely hit 18 of 23 field goal attempts last season with the Atlanta Falcons. He was perfect on 40 extra points.

Feely, 29, will be the Giants' third placekicker in 3 seasons. He will replace 37 year-old Steve Christie. Matt Bryant was the kicker in 2003.

In 4 seasons with the Falcons, he was accurate on 98 out of 127 field goal attempts and 142 out of 144 extra points. Feely also has 44 touchbacks on 317 career kickoffs, including 13 last season. Christie had 2 touchbacks last season, and the Giants have had only 8 in the last 4 seasons.
