EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey - The New York Giants added depth to their defensive line. The team signed former Pittsburgh Steelers tackle Kendrick Clancy.

A 5 year veteran, Clancy was released by the Steelers last September but was re-signed October 20 when NT Casey Hampton sustained a season-ending knee injury. In 2004, Clancy played in 8 regular-season and 2 postseason games, recording 6 tackles in limited action.

Clancy will be reunited with Giants defensive coordinator Tim Lewis, his coach during his first 4 years with the Steelers.
