Giants sign one OL and release another

The NY Giants have signed OL Ben Herrell. Herrell signed with the Tennessee Titans in 2005 and was allocated to NFL Europe where he played for the Amsterdam Admirals. The Titans waived him in September but he remained with the Admirals this past season where he was a starter at left guard and helped lead the team to the World Bowl.

The Giants also released OL Jon Doty and RB Jerod Void. Doty was on the Giants' practice squad in December through the end of the 2005 season. Void had been signed during NY's rookie mini-camp in May.
