The New York Giants have signed running back Little John Flowers. The 6-0, 215 pound RB has failed four times trying to make it onto the New York Jets roster.

Flowers, named for the character in Robin Hood, spent this spring in NFL Europe with the Berlin Thunder. He had 75 carries for 283 yards and two touchdowns and also added 10 catches for 112 yards and another touchdown.

Flowers signed with the Jets as an undrafted free-agent in 2002 and spent that season on the practice squad, but was released soon after. He resigned with the team in 2003 and was once again released after training camp, but was brought on the practice squad two separate times that year. In 2004 and 2005 he was with the Jets in training camp and still failed to make the roster prompting his move to NFL Europe.
