The Jacksonville Jaguars signed cornerback Kenny Wright to a 1 year contract.

The 6'1", 207 lbs. free agent played all 16 games with the Houston Texans in 2004, recording 13 tackles and 1 sack. Free agent acquisition Terry Cousin and backup Kiwaukee Thomas, and Wright are all vying for a starting CB position in 2005.

The Northwestern State-Louisiana product has played for the Minnesota Vikings (1999-2001) and Houston Texans (2002-2004) in his 6 year career. The 27 year-old Wright has 253 tackles, 3 sacks, 4 INTs, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 recovery of an opponent's fumble in 94 games.
