The injury suffered late last season by Jacksonville Jaguars running back Fred Taylor was much worse than initially reported. He tore both his MCL and PCL in a game played against the Green Bay Packers on December 19th.

The hobbled running back shared this information WZNZ, a local talk radio station. According to Taylor, "It was a lot worse than initially thought...How that came about, I don't know, but it definitely was [worse]." Fortunately, his ACL remained relatively intact, so he expects to be back on the field for training camp.

Fred Taylor has carried the ball 1,637 times for 7,580 yards and 48 touchdowns. The seven year veteran has 225 career catches for 1,880 yards and seven scores. He is a key cog in the Jacksonville Jaguars offense.
