Jets, Ainge agree to four-year contract

The Jets and fifth-round QB Erik Ainge agreed on a four-year contract that will pay the Tennessee product a $165,000 signing bonus.

The total amount of the contract wasn't released. Ainge isn't likely to start this season in New York, but at 6-foot-6, he has prototypical NFL quarterback height and good throwing mechanics.
