The number of girls I have met in my life who have crushes on Jets quarterback Brett Favre rivals Justin Timberlake fans, so it's appropriate that New York is getting "NSync" as they face a demoralized Cincinnati squad this week. Favre says he feels recovered after the bye week -- not that it really hurt him against the Cardinals. Favre threw for six touchdowns, a career high, in a 56-35 win.

The Jets sit in last place in the AFC East, but that stat may be deceiving. Both Miami and New England have been relatively low scorers (79 points total each), which will end up costing them in the long run. New York, on the other hand, has scored 115 points in four games; first-place Buffalo, in five games, has accrued a division-leading 126.

A Jets team that was hobbled by injuries is now refreshed and ready to take advantage of an 0-5 Bengals team. Even Laveranues Coles, who gets more bruises easier than an old melon, is completely healthy. The Jets are at the bottom of the division, but that could change in a hurry now that they're healthy and their schedule is softening.

Fan Pulse: Gang Green fans aren't sure if this is the "same ol' Jets" team: http://www.jetsinsider.net/forums/showthread.php?t=179816.

Fantasy Football Commentary: If Favre can look as good as he has in the past two games he's played, be ready to prop him up as a top five fantasy quarterback. Favre's value is high, so listen to trade talks for him if you have an adequate alternative.

Injury Watch: No Jets starters are hurt at the moment. Didn't you read the article?
