The New York Jets are the desperate ex-girlfriend of the NFL. After watching their best chance at a deep playoff run pick up and leave to a clearly better situation, they are on the rebound. What's the best way to get revenge? Find a younger, better looking suitor and let everyone know. Mark Sanchez is now that suitor. The golden child from California with the flashing good looks that have earned him photospreads in magazines. An attractive catch both in good looks and in football skills. They have now committed to Sanchez as their starter and and how quickly the number 4 jerseys turned into number 6 jerseys. Like all rebound relationships this will not end pretty.

Even if he makes Rex Ryan's dream come true and produces a Joe Flacco like season, which is possible, it will not go much farther than that and Jets fans will once again be heartbroken.
