The New York Jets released quarterback Ricky Ray, running back Leonard Henry and tight end Joshua Norman. The 3 players were cut after participating in minicamp this past weekend.

The 6'3", 208 lbs. Ray has not seen any NFL action in 4 years in the NFL. The former Sacramento State QB has played for the San Francisco 49ers from 2001 to 2003 and the Jets in 2004 after several successful seasons in the CFL.

The 6'1", 210 lbs. Henry had 46 carries for 141 yards in 2004 for the Miami Dolphins. The East Carolina product has been a backup for the Dolphins since 2002.

The 6'3", 240 lbs. Norman was out of football in 2004. The former Oklahoma Sooner had been with the San Diego Chargers organization since signing as a rookie free agent in 2002. The Chargers released him during training camp last year.
