After resting his arm for months, New York Jets starting quarterback, Chad Pennington, is finally back on the field and throwing. Pennington underwent successful surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff on his throwing arm back in February. After four months of rehab doctors have cleared Chad to throw a football.

Chad Pennington gutted out the final seven games of last season, throwing on that severely injured shoulder. His team went 3-4 in that span, and his passes were inconsistent at best. He seemed to be constantly underthrowing his receivers and floating balls into coverage.

Pennington will not be involved in team drills for a while, but is expected to be ready to go when the New York Jets open training camp on July 29th. For now, he will be throwing the ball 80 times every other day.
