Trinity High School (Euless, Texas) linebacker Earnest Norman has committed to Kansas. The 5-foot-11, 220-pounder is the fourth commitment for coach Mark Mangino’s 2009 recruiting class.

Norman chose Kansas over Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Washington State, Tulsa and Duke. Coach Clint Bowen is credited as the primary.

COMMENTARY: This is also the first commitment in over a month for Kansas. If Kansas is to maintain last season’s success, the recruiting must pick up the pace.
