Marcus High (Flower Mound, Texas) offensive guard Ty Cloud gave his solid verbal to the Kansas Jayhawks on Wednesday for the 2009 class.

The first offensive lineman for the class, the 6-foot-4, 285-pounder chose coach Mark Mangino’s program over Southern Methodist and Houston. Je’Ney Jackson is credited as the primary.

COMMENTARY: As we inch closer to the end of June, Kansas has received commitments from three players for the month so far. The current tally for the class stands at seven.
