Hesston High (Hesston, Kan.) offensive tackle Riley Spencer committed to Kansas on Sunday for the ’09 class.

According to Rivals, the 6-foot-6, 254-pounder boasts a 5.1-second 40 and a 3.85 grade-point average. Spencer chose Kansas over Kansas State, Miami, and Texas Christian. Brandon Blaney is credited as the primary.

COMMENTARY: This is the second offensive lineman for Mark Mangino’s 2009 class; Spencer’s commitment follows that of guard Ty Cloud, who committed June 18.
