Two NFC North teams looking to get their offenses on track meet on Sunday in Soldier Field, as the Detroit Lions visit the Chicago Bears.

The Detroit Lions come into this one off an impressive victory over another NFL North rival, the Green Bay Packers. Surprisingly though, it wasn't the high-octane offensive players that led them over the Pack, but an inspiring effort out of the defense. They sacked Brett Favre four times and intercepted him twice.

This doesn't bode well for a Bears team that had trouble moving the football with rookie quarterback Kyle Orton at the helm in a 9-7 loss to the Washington Redskins on the road.

However, the Chicago Bears also boast a top notch defense that is aided this year by the healthy return of linebacker Brian Urlacher and safety Mike Brown.

The Detroit Lions will once again turn to their offensive stars, among them running back Kevin Jones, who gained 87 yards on 25 carries against Green Bay. If Jones is able to make plays on the ground, it could open up things for much scrutinized starting quarterback Joey Harrington.

The Bears will also look to run the ball more successfully this week, as Thomas Jones only gained 31 yards on 15 carries against a sturdy Redskins defense. If Jones cannot get the job done, 1st round pick Cedric Benson could soon take over the starting tailback slot.

The Lions won both meetings between these two squads last year, 20-16 in Chicago, and 19-13 at Ford Field in Detroit. Expect another low-scoring close game on Sunday afternoon.
