According to a published report, the Detroit Lions' oft injured WR Charles Rogers is facing a four game suspension due to a violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy. A public announcement could be made later this week.

Rogers was struggling to make an impact on the Lions offense anyhow, catching only 5 passes for 77 yards and zero touchdowns. He had only one reception longer than 20 yards.

If this suspension comes to pass, Charles Rogers will forced to try and re-establish himself in a Detroit Lions offense that already has two other talented receivers, Mike Willams and Roy Williams as well as established TE Marcus Pollard.
