The Detroit Lions has few bright spots in 2006, but one of the biggest and brightest ones was unheralded wide receiver Mike Furrey, who caught 98 passes for 1,086 yards and six touchdowns.

On Wednesday, the Lions announced that they had agreed to terms on a three-year deal with the four-year vet, preventing him from entering the free-agent market.
