Two weeks ago, LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux was kicked off the school's football team for multiple team violations. Now, he's transferred to Jacksonville State. Could it be a marriage made in heaven?

Commentary: "This school is perfect for me," Perrilloux said during an exclusive interview with Yahoo! Sports. "It's in a small town. I'm surrounded by good people, good supportive people. It's just a great opportunity for my second chance at a college football career."

At first, the idea of Jacksonville State being a better fit for an athlete the caliber of Perrilloux seems rather ridiculous. But there's no doubt that he had trouble with the bright lights of a major program. Perhaps this will work out.
