The Miami Hurricanes returned to the Greentree Practice Fields Monday. They began their third week of spring practice leading up to the annual spring game on April 9 at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.

With 7 practice sessions completed, the team has 7 remaining at their Coral Gables campus. "I just told our team we have 2 weeks left, and we have to get a lot done in 2 weeks," Coker said. "I think the quarterbacks do a nice job when they get the opportunity. I saw some other things I was excited about, like the moves of (tight end) Chris Zellner and (fullback) James Bryant to offense. Both players have potential. (Running back) Derron Thomas has shown sometimes he can really help us."

The team also took a look for the first time at redshirt freshman Tyrone Byrd as a center.

This week's practice schedule is: 3:20 pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 10:00 am on Saturday at the Greentree Practice Fields. All practices are open to the public.
