If there was ever a case of addition by subtraction, this was it. Nebraska earns a good grade by simply getting rid of Bill Callahan, a career NFL coach who was ill-suited for the job in Lincoln from Day One. Hiring Bo Pelini, the defensive coordinator of BCS champion LSU, makes it even better. He will have the additional benefit of being mentored by the great Tom Osborne, who's come out of retirement to assume the role as Nebraska's athletic director. The days of the Blackshirts giving up 70 points per game are probably numbered. Grade: A
