Lincoln, Neb., police arrested Nebraska tight end Hunter Teafatiller on driving-under-the-influence charges just after 1:00 a.m. Sunday. His blood alcohol measurement was 0.2, and this is the senior’s third DUI offense inside a year.

"I have talked with Hunter and made him aware of the internal discipline he will face throughout the summer,” head coach Bo Pelini said. “Further discipline regarding Hunter's playing status for the 2008 season will be determined as the case is resolved through the legal process."

In 11 games last year, Teafatiller caught four passes for 34 yards. His career mark is nine catches for 112 yards.

COMMENTARY: It’s been a relative while since Nebraska endured its last off-field problem. Given Teafatiller’s lack of production and troubled past, don’t be surprised if the team dismisses the senior prior to this season.
