Tonight's game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins will be played at Pittsburgh's Heinz Field at 7:30 pm eastern. The game will be broadcast on local television in both cities with KDKA-TV (channel 2) televising the game in Pittsburgh and WFOR-TV (channel 4) showing the game in Miami.

The Miami Dolphins will start Gus Frerotte at quarterback tonight against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Frerotte should play at least a quarter in order to develop some consistency with the first-string receivers. Based on the Dolphins' practice on Friday, Seth McKinney should start at center with Rex Hadnot starting at right guard. The starting left corner has yet to be decided with rookie Travis Daniels still nursing a hamstring injury, making Reggie Howard as the most likely starter. Newly signed rookie running back, Ronnie Brown, should see some limited action tonight after completing his first week of practice. Sammy Morris is listed as the probable starter for the second consecutive week, but look for Ricky Williams to get a significant amount of carries with the first-team offense as he did last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

For the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ben Roethlisberger will be the starter at quarterback and should get a little more than the 10 snaps he got last week. According to head coach Bill Cowher, Jerome Bettis will start at running back and Hines Ward will start at wide receiver but how much they will play is still unknown. Running back Duce Staley and linebacker Joey Porter are still out with injuries and will most likely be unable to return until the opening game against the Tennessee Titans on September 11. Look for cornerback Ike Taylor to see plenty of action as he tries to vie for a starting position against regular starters Deshea Townsend and Willie Williams. With Duce Staley out, the Pittsburgh Steelers will give running backs Vernon Hayes and Willie Parker a lot of carries as they battle for the third running back slot.
