The banged up Oakland Raiders will look to improve on their disappointing performance versus the 49ers last week, in which they turned the ball over four times and the defense yielded almost 400 yards. Wide receiver Jerry Porter is still bothered by a hamstring and will not play tonight, and linebacker Sam Williams is out for the year after tearing a ligament in his knee in practice Thursday. Kerry Collins will start at quarterback and will have the services of Randy Moss.

The Houston Texans also have health issues, particularly at quarterback where starter David Carr has a sore Achilles tendon. He will more than likely play only two series if he even plays. Former Texas Tech star B.J. Symons may see the bulk of the action with Tony Banks and Dave Ragone also ailing. Coach Dom Capers will play his starting defense more this week, since they are still learning to play together after the team made plenty of moves during the off-season.
