LaDainian Tomlinson got just one carry this game. It was big one. Tomlinson scampered 55 yards for a touchdown as the San Diego Chargers beat up on the St. Louis Rams 36-21. There was plenty of offense to go around.

The Chargers got solid performances from both of their marquis quarterbacks. Drew Brees was 13 of 23 for 128 yards. Phillip Rivers was 7 of 8 for 35 yards. The lone defensive highlight came courtesy of Drayton Florence. He picked off Marc Bulger and the returned the interception 44 yards for a touchdown late in the second quarter.

Despite throwing the pick-six, Marc Bulger actually had a great outing. He was 15 of 21 for 181 yards and threw two touchdown passes. One was a 41 yard strike to Torry Holt. The other was a 13 toss to WR Kevin Curtis who had a coming out party of sorts. He caught four passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns. Steven Jackson added 51 rushing yards on seven attempts.
