After another slow start against the Washington Redskins last weekend, quarterback Carson Palmer turned it around nicely in the second quarter, leading the Cincinnati Bengals offense of 93 and 80 yards scoring drives. Palmer also had a couple gains running the ball, but coach Marvin Lewis doesn't want to see his top guy scrambling around too much in the pre-season. WR Peter Warrick had to sit out of practice a couple of days to rest his knee and hamstring, but should see more action Friday Night. Place kicker Shayne Graham will miss his 3rd straight game because of a groin injury.

With absence of Terrell Owens due to a sore groin, the Philadelphia Eagles will once again get a good look at their trio of young receivers on Friday night. WR Reggie Brown looks to have the no. 3 spot locked up. On the injury front, it was announced that running back Correll Buckhalter will miss the entire 2005 season due to his third knee surgery in as many seasons, which means rookie Ryan Moats has moved up on the depth chart and will be Bryan Westbrook's back-up to start the year. The Eagles signed veteran Sean Landeta to handle punting duties in place of Dirk Johnson, who is still out after hernia surgery.
