Quarterback Kyle Boller had another disappointing outing last week in the Baltimore Ravens 20-14 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles. The team is counting on Boller to lead the offense, but he hasn't had the advantage of having starting RB Jamal Lewis or TE Todd Heap in the lineup as of yet. Lewis has been listed as probable for this weeks game versus New Orleans, as he says his ankle is about 90 % healed from off-season surgery. Heap will not play until at least next week. Ravens coach Brian Billick is also concerned about how his defense looked in the last game, giving up several big plays in the loss to the Eagles.

The New Orleans Saints hope to build off the positive of beating the New England Patriots on the road last Thursday night. Head coach Jim Haslett played his starters extensively in that game. The Saints are thin on both the offensive and defensives lines heading into this weeks game with multiple injuries and Haslett has closed practice to the media this week. He has been displeased by the team turning the ball over and receivers dropping passes in the first two games. QBs Aaron Brooks and backup Todd Bouman will take most of the snaps on Friday night.
