Running backs Stephen Davis and Lee Suggs will be watching from the sidelines when the Carolina Panthers meet the Cleveland Browns tonight. The game is scheduled to kick off at 8PM in Cleveland.

Stephen Davis practiced for the first time this week but is not ready to hit the field yet. The Carolina Panthers will make some adjustments in the defensive backfield in order to account for the unfortunate season-ending knee injury suffered by starting free safety Colin Branch. Strong safety Mike Minter will shift to Branch's former role, and rookie Thomas Davis will move from outside linebacker to free safety.

Lee Suggs will miss the game due to a high ankle sprain, and may not be ready to go when the regular season starts. Reuben Droughns and William Green are expected to pick up the slack. Trent Dilfer looks to continue his solid play. He should get some reps with rookie WR Braylon Edwards this week. Edwards was the hero in last week's game but did not get to work with the starters.
