The Arizona Cardinals will travel to the Bay Area to take on the Oakland Raiders for the third game of the preseason. This will be the preseason home opener for the Raiders.

With the Cardinals' second straight pre-season win last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, quarterback Kurt Warner is making head coach Dennis Green look all the wiser to his critics. After Green named Kurt Warner the starter during the off-season, most said that the Cardinals wouldn't improve much, especially with a non-mobile Warner behind center. So far the gamble is paying off after Warner finished his second good outing, going 12-of-23 for 99 yards. Also showing promise was running back Marcel Shipp. After spending last season on injured reserve, Shipp rushed for 56 yards on 7 carries including a run for 26 yards. The key this week will be whether or not Warner can keep up his good play and whether the offensive line will perform well after having to start a fourth-stringer at center because of injuries.

Since the Raider's loss to the Houston Texans last week, the focus of fans seems to be on Randy Moss, rather than the 0-2 record. So far the former Minnesota Vikings receiver has caught just three passes for 34 yards a no touchdowns in two pre-season games. Yet the Oakland Raiders are insisting there is no reason to worry. Not what Oakland fans envisioned when the Raiders got the All-Pro receiver this off-season. This is Oakland's pre-season home opener, so expect a lot of fans to show and expect a lot of disappointment if Moss has another dismal outing.
