The Pittsburgh Steelers' defense scored yet another touchdown but the Washington Redskins bounced back and defeated Steelers 17-10. Jerome Bettis left the game with a calf injury, but that only gave youngster Willie Parker another opportunity to show that he may truly be the next big time NFL running back. The speedy Parker had only one carry but it went for 51 yards. Ben Roethlisberger looked very sloppy throwing for 57 yards and one interception on only 6 of 15 passing.

The Washington Redskins and Patrick Ramsey had to recover after an early interception that Troy Polamalu returned 34 yards for a touchdown. Ramsey was able to settle down and ended up going 12 of 19 for 141 yards with one touchdown and the one interception. Clinton Portis looked good in limited action. He carried the ball eight times for 48 yards. The newly acquired Santana Moss ended up with two receptions for 68 yards.
