The Houston Texans will travel to Lone Star State to take on the Dallas Cowboys tonight at 8 pm est. at Texas Stadium. This is the third preseason game for both teams.

The Houston Texans should have a healthier David Carr, after the franchise quarterback was hobbled a bit last week by an inflamed left Achilles' tendon. Carr, who played sparingly in last week's win against the Oakland Raiders, should get more time tonight against Dallas. The first string offense should play the first half and maybe more as the Texans prepare for the final roster cuts. Look for head coach Dom Capers to use a three-wide set to take advantage of the speed of Andre Johnson, Corey Bradford, and rookie Jerome Mathis. The Texans will be without receiver Jabar Gaffney, who continues to nurse a shoulder injury, and right guard Zach Wiegert, who will probably miss next week's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as well.

After Monday night's win over the Seattle Seahawks, the Dallas Cowboys have had only three days of practice, something head coach Bill Parcells isn't too happy about. In most cases, the third preseason game is a barometer for the coach to see who his starting lineups will be come opening day. However, Parcells has said that might not be the case given the short practice week. At quarterback, Parcells has said that Tony Romo will play with the second unit and Drew Henson will probably play with the third. Defensive tackle Jason Ferguson will be unable to play in Saturday's game due to an ankle sprain. Cornerback Aaron Glenn will get to face his former team after being released by the Texans this off-season.
