The Seattle Seahawks will travel to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs tonight at 8:30 pm EST. This is both teams' third preseason game.

Seattle Seahawks' head coach Mike Holmgren plans to play his starters well into the first half to establish some momentum and rhythm. Holmgren plans on using this game to determine which three receivers to keep alongside starters Darrell Jackson and Bobby Engram and special teams' player Alex Bannister. Those receivers fighting it out are Joe Jurevicius, Jerome Pathon, DJ Hackett, Jerheme Urban, Bobby Shaw, Taco Wallace, Jason Willis, and Marque Davis. Jurevicius, Pathon, and Hackett are the likely trio to keep since all three have caught the ball well in camp. There is also a battle at tight end between Itula Mill and Jerramy Stevens. Regardless of who starts, both should see extensive playing time. The Seahawks also have intriguing battles at the linebacker and cornerback positions.

The Kansas City Chiefs will look to improve after a good offensive display in the first half against the Arizona Cardinals. Backup quarterback Damon Huard will need to improve on a lackluster performance against the Cardinals in which he finished 1-for-12 for 11 yards and two interceptions. Huard had been elevated to the second team while regular backup Todd Collins nursed a hand injury. The offensive line will get back Will Shields, after the Pro-Bowl player had missed the first two pre-season games due to back problems. Also making their preseason debut will be tight ends Tony Gonzalez and Jason Dunn. Defensive players Junior Siavii, Carlos Hall, Kendrell Bell, and Jerome Woods, all of whom had been nursing injuries, are expected to play.
