Jefferson signs RFA tender with Bills

Restricted free agent DT Jason Jefferson signed the one-year tender offered by Buffalo Wednesday. He saw extensive time at defensive end in 2007 due to injuries along the Bills defensive line.

A 6th round pick out of Wisconsin in 2005, Jefferson saw action in 11 games last season, tallying 11 tackles.

Commentary: If any team knows the value of depth after 2007, it's Buffalo, and all the defensive injuries they had last season. Jefferson can help solidify their line, but the Bills still finished 29th in the NFL in sacks last season with 26.
