Steelers keep DE Eason with two-year deal

The Steelers re-signed DE Nick Eason to a two-year contract Thursday. Eason signed a one-year deal with Pittsburgh last season, and played in all 16 games, starting one for injured DE Aaron Smith.

Eason had 14 tackles in 2007, a year after he left Cleveland for Pittsburgh.

Commentary: Eason is a fill-in for the Steelers' perilously thin defensive line. Thin enough that Eason, a part of the team's second half swoon last season, gets a two-year deal.
