Talk about going from a bad to worse situation. Anyway, the good news is that Cleveland Browns defensive back Kenny Wright was released from jail after coming up with the $5,000 in bail required to do so. Why was he in jail in the first place?

Well, first it was because he ran away from the police. Specifically, Wright was caught following a quarter mile foot chase after police came to investigate an argument in a station parking lot. Unfortunately for him, they also found marijuana in his vehicle, the combination of which led him to him being charged with unlawful restraint, evading arrest, and, of course, possessing marijuana.

Unlawful restraint carries a max penalty of one year in jail. All the other charges carry a maximum of six months.

Ouch!
