Bengals sign Gabriel to one-year deal

In wake of the release of wide receiver Chris Henry, the Bengals signed veteran WR Doug Gabriel to a one-year deal Tuesday.

Gabriel was cut by the Raiders in training camp in 2007, and did not play last season. He is now third among WRs on the Bengals roster with 106 career receptions. He will compete for the third WR spot with incumbent Antonio Chatman.
